Special Education Teacher Opening - Minnesota River Valley Education District

The Minnesota Valley Area Learning Center (MVALC) located in Montevideo, MN is seeking a positive, caring, and supportive individual to join our team as a full-time Special Education Teacher beginning with the 2019-2020 school year. This teacher will work with our high school students to promote academic growth in a unique environment that provides students with flexible scheduling, along with traditional and individualized learning options.

The successful candidate will provide a personalized educational experience that is tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of each student, as well as assist students in exploring career options that will lead them to a more vibrant future. This position will require some travel, a flexible work schedule, and the ability to connect students to various resources in our area.

Candidates must have MN Special Education license or be willing to complete special education licensure within three years. The MVALC serves students in grades 7 – 12.
